Privacy Policy

Last updated November 7, 2026

Kyanu AI (“Kyanu”) is a Chrome extension for recruiters, operated by FMT Travel Inc. d/b/a MissionHires (“MissionHires”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what the extension collects, why, and what we do with it. Your MissionHires account itself is covered by the MissionHires Privacy Policy.

What Kyanu collects

Kyanu only runs on Google search pages, LinkedIn and MissionHires. It does not collect your browsing history, and it does not read other websites, except the tab you choose with “New job from this page”.

How we use it

We don't sell this data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use it to decide anyone's credit or lending eligibility.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run Kyanu and MissionHires:

They may use the data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or as part of a merger or acquisition, under this policy.

Chrome Web Store User Data Policy

Kyanu's use of information received through Chrome extension APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep it

Scored candidates and searches are kept with your job in MissionHires for as long as your account is active, under the MissionHires Privacy Policy. Job post text from “New job from this page” is deleted after one day. Settings in your browser are removed when you uninstall Kyanu.

Security

Kyanu talks to MissionHires only over HTTPS, with your sign-in token. Sign-ins expire after 30 days. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Your choices

Children

Kyanu is a tool for recruiters and isn't meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how Kyanu collects or uses data, we'll say so in the extension or by email before it applies.
